Every year, my family goes on a retreat with about fifteen other families from our church community. The retreat is held at a beautiful place called Camp Maria, and this past weekend I was blessed to be going for the sixth year in a row. It was a fantastic weekend full of worship, games, canoeing, stargazing, story telling, late nights on the dock and some family bonding (not just bonding with my own family, but other families as well.) Sadly, the weekend flew by, and now I'm back to reality, but I am so grateful for the time we all got to spend together!
Now for some pictures from the weekend to help with my post camp depression...
During outdoor mass on the first night, there was a gorgeous double rainbow.
Stargazing down on the dock.
The view.
Lunch time shenanigans with Cullen and Noah.
Camp Maria sunsets are the best.
The parents getting competitive during the egg toss.
What is a summer retreat without a crab feast?
Me and the sibs.
Noah also celebrated his 9th birthday over the weekend (Happy birthday, buddy!)
